Why Our Cabinetry Estimates Hold Up

Cabinet packages often contain dozens of different configurations throughout a project. Base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall units, specialty cabinets, vanity units, appliance panels, fillers, and finished ends may all have different sizes and material requirements.
We review floor plans, elevations, enlarged plans, cabinet schedules, interior elevations, details, finish schedules, and specifications to identify each cabinet type and quantify the associated materials and accessories.

Coordination Across the Cabinetry Scope

Cabinetry interfaces with countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, walls, flooring, backsplashes, and architectural millwork.
We coordinate available architectural and MEP documentation to identify appliance openings, sinks, equipment, fillers, end panels, wall conditions, and other details that can affect cabinet quantities and installation.

Cabinet Takeoff by Type & Location

Cabinet quantities can be separated by cabinet type, size, room, elevation, and finish.
This provides a clearer basis for supplier pricing and fabrication than a single linear-foot allowance.

Kitchen Cabinet Estimating

Kitchen cabinetry can include base units, wall units, tall cabinets, appliance panels, fillers, finished ends, toe kicks, moldings, hardware, and other accessories.
Cabinet layouts and elevations can be coordinated with appliance schedules and plumbing information to identify configuration requirements.

Vanity & Bathroom Cabinet Estimating

Bathroom and vanity packages may include sink bases, medicine cabinets, tall units, countertops, fillers, backsplashes, and specialty storage.
These can be separated by room and cabinet type for accurate project pricing.

Commercial & Multifamily Cabinet Estimating

Multifamily and commercial projects often repeat cabinet configurations across multiple units or rooms.
We can organize quantities by building, floor, unit type, room, or cabinet type where project documentation allows, making procurement and quantity verification easier.

Cabinet Hardware & Accessories

Hardware can represent a significant part of the cabinetry package. Hinges, drawer slides, pulls, knobs, locks, shelf hardware, and other specified accessories can be included where documented.
