Why Our Electrical Takeoffs Hold Up

Electrical distribution systems contain many interconnected components. Conduit length alone does not provide enough information to price an electrical installation accurately.
We review electrical plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, details, panel schedules, equipment layouts, and specifications to quantify wiring, conduit, devices, fittings, supports, and related materials.

Coordination Across the Electrical System

Electrical wiring interacts with lighting, panels, mechanical equipment, plumbing equipment, low-voltage systems, ceilings, walls, and structural elements.
We coordinate available electrical and MEP documentation to identify circuits, equipment connections, device locations, pathways, and documented installation requirements.

Conduit Takeoff by Size

Conduit can be measured by size, material, system, and installation location.
Straight runs, fittings, bends, couplings, connectors, supports, and other documented raceway components can be quantified separately.

Electrical Wiring & Cable Takeoff

Conductors can be measured according to circuit, conductor size, number of conductors, insulation type, and documented routing.
Feeder and branch-circuit wiring can be separated to provide a clearer basis for material and labor pricing.

Electrical Device Takeoff

Devices can include receptacles, switches, dimmers, GFCI outlets, disconnects, occupancy sensors, and other documented devices.
Quantities can be organized by device type and location.

Electrical Raceway & Support Systems

Junction boxes, pull boxes, cable trays, wireways, supports, hangers, and other raceway accessories can be included where documented.
