Lower-level columns may carry substantially greater loads than upper-floor columns, while transfer conditions, offsets, architectural requirements, and structural transitions can create additional estimating complexity.
We measure columns by size, height, floor level, and structural condition rather than applying a single average quantity to the entire project. Concrete volume, reinforcing steel, formwork, placement, and related labor are quantified separately so contractors can understand exactly what is included in the structural concrete budget.
