Missing even small items can result in significant budget shortfalls on large projects. Use these checklists to verify your takeoff coverage before bid submission.

Concrete Takeoff Checklist

Excavation and sub-base (coordinate with civil/sitework scope)

Formwork

Floor framing

  • [ ] Joist hangers and hardware (quantity)

Wall framing

  • [ ] Plates (linear feet, by number of ply)
  • [ ] Studs (count, by size and length)
  • [ ] Headers (linear feet by size, over each opening)
  • [ ] Shear panels and blocking (square feet and linear feet)

Roof framing
