How to Use This Calculator

Enter the length and width of the area you want to tile. Then, select the nominal size of the tile you are using, along with your waste factor.

  • Tile Size: We calculate based on the actual square inches of the tile (e.g. 12x24 = 288 sq inches).
  • Waste Factor: We highly recommend at least a 10% waste factor for standard rooms, and 15% if the room has many angles or you are installing the tile diagonally.
